I'm wetNow now...just what were you thinking...I'm talking wet from the rain...very slow day at work today, had a lot of odds and ends to do but customer wise I think everyone to the week off, very few call and the people I tried to call were not in...That's alright good time to get those things I put off done. Got pretty wet over lunch, it was a steady rain when we went and while we did walk in the mall..getting to and from was just a mess. It's getting busy at the mall a lot of people were there today so we had to park a lot further out than we normally do. I'm told Castleton is a real nightmare during the Christmas shopping season and maybe this is the start. Anyway I still a little damp when I got..took off my cloths just to get a little warmer..wasn't soaked but just kinda damp all the way through.. Making some stew for dinner, I have a lot of beef left over and need to use it so I through everything into pot and it's simmering away, looks good smells good...we'll soon find out if it taste good..and after dinner Christmas cards, I got to get them ready to send out...I always like witting a bit of something in each one so it takes me a long time, because I really never know what to say...oh shut up...I know what you are thinking...LOL Sara's corn bread must be done...LOL she wanted some with the stew so I said make some...well the smoke detector just went off...she cook green beans the same way...LOL literally she can not cook green beans with out setting of the smoke detector..I don't know how she does it but every single time she does it....they'll be fine, it's not like they are burnt or anything but she does something...and that's not only here that's in Michigan, my parents house our old place...any place we have lived that is the case...she even to the point when she hears the alarm go off she the one that says..beans are done. Ok I found out what some of all the giggles and laughter was Saturday night...they were playing titty soccer..with the dog...now I know this sounds really weird because it did to me at first.....but what they were doing were putting cheerios on Sara's nipples and flicking them off with their fingers, the idea was so the dog would catch them anyway that was the goal..except our dog is a little dumb at catching things unless it's right at her mouth.. I guess cheerios where flying everywhere and there were a few times that Greg flicked more than just the cheerio if you know what I mean and they thought that was funny...who knew nipples and Cheerios could be so much fun...LOL I would have never put those two things together and neither on will admit to who came up with the idea. I'm sure all the beer that is missing from the fridge had nothing to do with it. Anyway there a a few Cheerios stuck to the wall and curtains... and it suddenly made sense when Sara was sitting in the ER with me she pulled a few Cheerios from her hair.....LOL Later Jenny |
